In need of a quick dinner? Maybe one that seems as if you put a lot of effort in to it? Here's just the thing you're looking for...

Some would say it's "cheating" if you buy a jar of Alfredo sauce to add to your chicken and fettuccine - and they are probably right because making it from scratch is so easy and taste so much better.

In addition to your cooked fettuccine and grilled chicken, here's what you need:

1 cup of heavy cream

1 cup of Parmesan cheese

1/4 cup of butter

1 tbs of minced garlic or garlic powder

black pepper, onion powder, Italian seasoning

On medium, melt butter then add heavy cream and seasonings.

Once hot (not boiling!), whisk in Parmesan cheese. Continue to whisk slowly as cheese melts. You may find that it clumps around your whisk but do not fear, just keep stirring.

After cheese is fully incorporated and consistency is even, pour over cooked pasta and chicken.

This recipe yields two large bowls of chicken fettuccine Alfredo -- enough to feed two very hungry people.

Enjoy!
